How do we prepare for our session?
All of our shoots are pre-empted by a consultation to look at ways in which you can make the most from your session. We will also advise you on the type of clothing you may wish to consider. We will email you full details and a check list prior to your shoot. Equally important is that we get to understand exactly what you would like to gain from the shoot and what type of photographs you may like.
What should we wear?
The clothes you choose for your portrait are very important:
Wear something that you feel comfortable in.
Avoid very strong patterns or logos of any kind and anything that might date the images.
For families and couples, perhaps wear clothing that represents you as a family but please watch for anything that clashes with anyone else. Contrasting primary colours, like reds and blues should be avoided.
How long does each session last?
Usually about an hour. Our focus is very much on quality to ensure you get the most from your time with us. We allow plenty of time in between sessions so if we overrun a little – not to worry!
What do we need to bring?
As well as a change of clothing, we would encourage you to bring favourite toys or musical instruments. We have a great range of props, including among other things, balls, hoola hoops, skipping ropes, drums, etc. all designed to make it a fun and interactive session.
Your hobbies, sports or your shared interests can all provide a theme for a portrait. This is particularly important for our Family Box Experiences! So discuss this with us and bring along some personal items, which you think might help us to capture the essential character of you and your family. The personal touches make all the difference to your portraits.
How long will I have to wait until I can see my photographs?
At the end of your session, we will arrange a date for you to return for your viewing. Your photographs will have been edited using the most modern computer software. If you require additional airbrushing this would be the time to decide!
We will look to arrange your viewing and ordering session within fourteen days from the date of the shoot. This will be done in a relaxed environment and you will be able to choose your favourite photos, together with any additional prints or wall/display art depending on your requirements.
How much will it cost?
We have a range of packages to meet everyone’s needs. Prices start from as little as £50. Please visit our reception room to get an idea of the sort of wall and display art we can provide. We will give you an indication of costs at your consultation meeting. A full list of packages is available on request. Prices range from £399 – £995. How do we pay?
Most popular debit/credit cards are accepted. We will require a £50 non-refundable booking fee to secure the photo session. If paying via the site, Paypal is also available. Interest free credit options are also available on request. We also accept Bank Transfers – please ask for details. Stage Payments and Interest Free Options are also available on request.
When will we receive our order?
We use a number of different professional photo labs that produce wonderful, hand made products to studios all across the country. Wall/display art will take 2 to 3 weeks from the date of your viewing.
Can I buy Gift Vouchers?
Yes, vouchers can be ordered directly from our website, or you can purchase them at the studio. Denominations of £50 are available.
